On April 29, 2021, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the XIII Republican subject Olympiad in religious studies and theology of the 2020-2021 academic year among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
7 teams studying in religious studies and theology took part in the Republican Olympiad. 3rd year students from Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, Faculty of history 5b013000-history-Religious Studies” took part: Dosov Nurbek Eldosovich, Shaukebayeva Aidana Umirzakovna, Zhalgasbaikyzy Gulfariza.
The Olympiad consisted of 3 stages:
“At the first stage –” “Group project” “– presentation and defense of the work of a free – format group on the topic” “religion during the years of independence: Kazakhstan model of a secular state””, at the second stage – “”Zhuzden zhizrik, thousand tulpar “”- the answers to the test tasks in the system “”Kahoot “” for testing theoretical knowledge.” At the III stage,” the integrity of religion – the integrity of the country “was a section dedicated to determining the level of students’ knowledge of the principles of state policy in the religious sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the activities of denominations distributed in the Republic of Kazakhstan, where they sought to prove their point.
In the team competition based on the results of 3 stages
The first place was taken by L. N. Gumilyov ENU, Al-Farabi named Kazakh National University
The second place was taken by Nur Mubarak Egypt IMU
Students of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov and MKTU named after A. Yassaui took the third place
