Achievements

On April 18-20, 2016, the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan carried out the procedure of specialized accreditation of the specialty 5B011600- “Geography”, as a result of which it was accredited for a period of 5 years.

In October 2017 the specialty 5B090200- “Tourism” passed specialized accreditation, for a period of 5 years.

In 2017, in the rating of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Ranking of the Republic of Kazakhstan among the participating universities, the specialty 5B011600- “Geography” took the 2nd place.

For the last 3 years of the faculty PPP 6 articles with impact factor have been published, 5 monographs (associate professor, candidate of geology A. Sergeeva, associate professor, candidate of Geology Kubesova GT, senior teacher, AbdenevA.Zh., etc.), 3 manuals with the stamp of RUMS.

Annually, 100% of the teaching staff attend courses of advanced training.

There are classes in “General Geography”, “Professionally Oriented Foreign Language” (Associate Professor NN Merhaidarova and others).

Senior teacher Aidarov A.Z. was awarded the diploma of the trade-union organization of pedagogical workers of the Aktobe region (September 21, 2017).

In 2016 teachers of the department Abdullin A.G., Nurgazin A.S. became the winners of the competition «Студенттердің дербес танымдық әрекетін АКТ әдістері арқылы ұйымдастыру» of the ARSU. K. Zhubanov.

A third-year student of the specialty “Tourism” DoshtiyarovAdilet was awarded the nomination «Сәтті бизнес жоба» (subject: “Coffelino”) as a result of the competition “START-UP-2017”.

In 2010-2017.students specialty 5В011600- “Geography” became the winners of the Republican subject Olympiad, who took: in 2010. – 1 st place, 2011. – 2nd, 2012. – 3rd, 2013. – 3rd, 2014 – 2nd, 2015g. – 1st, 2017 – The 2 nd.

2012, 2016 on the basis of our university, II and VIII Republican subject Olympiads on the specialty 5В011600- “Geography” were held.

The scientific direction of the department: “Tourist and geographical study of the Aktyubinsk region”, “Innovative technologies in teaching geography”, there are scientific mugs “Toponyms of Aktobe region”, “Tourist-regional specialist”.

In the framework of the program of academic mobility, scientists of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University were invited to the department.

– Associate Professor of the Department of Economic and Social Geography of Russia, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Donshin AI (2016);

– Associate Professor of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, Ph.D., Shabalin N.V. (2017).

Associate Professor, Ph.D., Shabalina N.V. – Member of the National Academy of Tourism, member of the Russian Geographical Society, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, Prizes of the Government of Moscow for his contribution to the development of tourism.

Associate Professor Shabalina N.V. a course of lectures on the discipline “Hospitality” was read for 4th year students of the specialty “Tourism” (November, 2017).

On 11/17/2017 an international theoretical and theoretical online seminar on the topic “Actual problems of tourism development” was organized and held, with the participation of members of the Russian Geographical Society, the National Academy of Tourism of the Russian Federation, the PPS of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of the Moscow State University. Under the program of academic mobility, students specializing in “Tourism” are trained in universities in Latvia, Poland, China, etc.

In October 2018 the specialty 5B011600-Geography was successfully accredited.

In April 9-10, 2018 in Karaganda, at the 10th Republican Subject Olympiad of students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialty 5B011600-Geography, the team took the second place. The event was attended by 3rd year students of the specialty 5B011600-geography: S. Kuantaeva and G. Zhayykbay.

On April 16, 2021, the XIII Republican Subject Olympiad on the educational program “Geography”was held at the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov. 21 teams took part in the Republican subject Olympiad. The Olympiad consisted of 2 stages: stage 1-theoretical (online test tasks); stage 2-practical tasks. According to the results of the Olympiad in the individual competition-A student of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanova Burbaeva Gulnura Salamatovna took the II place, in the team competition the university team (Balgabekov A., Burbaeva G. From April 19 to 23, 2021, the works submitted for the Republican competition of research works of students in the specialty 5B011600 – Geography were analyzed. From 28 to 30.04, 2021 on the basis of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after K.A. Yasawi held the XIII Republican student subject Olympiad in the direction of “Tourism”. The Olympiad consisted of 3 stages:
Stage 1 – Writing an essay on the topic “Methods of forming and promoting a national tourism brand in the regions of Kazakhstan.”
Stage 2 – Defense of the project “Methods of forming and promoting a national tourism brand in the regions of Kazakhstan”.
Stage 3 – performing test tasks on the Technique and tactics of active types of tourism.
From our university, the team “Zhubanov university” took part in the Olympiad, consisting of 2nd year students of EP 6В11101 – Tourism (Ordabayeva Nurayym, Dosmyrza Dana, Audanbay Nurtileu) and 3 courses of EP 5B090200 – Tourism (Seilzhanov Madi). Scientific supervizors: Sergeeva Aigul Maksatovna, Omirzakova Miroslava Zhambylovna. According to the results of the Olympiad, the team of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov took 3rd place. Congratulations!

In April-May 2021, the competition “The best project of Zhubanov University”was held on the basis of the ARU named after K. Zhubanov. The purpose of the competition is to support and develop business initiatives and social activity of teachers and students of the university. A total of 55 contestants took part in the competition. The participants presented their work in three areas: methodological, social and Start-up. According to the results of the competition, the project “Social Art” of the 1st year master’s student of OP 7M01506 – Geography Yeleuov Nursultan won in the nomination “Creative Project”. The project “Social Art” with the financial support of the university will place “social advertising” on current social issues in society on the LED screens of the city. The competition will provide financial support for the implementation of the best projects. Congratulations!

In March – May 2021, the University hosted the competition “the best base of professional practice-Creating future”. The competition was attended by the University’s production practice bases. According to the results of the competition, the practical bases of the departments “history and religious studies” and “geography and tourism” were awarded the following prizes::
* Aktobe Regional Museum of local lore became the leader – the best system of corporate relations;
* The branch of the Department of history and religious studies and the practice base-Novy school – Lyceum was recognized as the “best branch of the Department”.
* Young tourist station-3rd place
* Secondary School No. 39-2nd place
