Material technical base

Educational process of students of EP 6В01506 – «Geography», 6В11101 – «Tourism», 6В01511- «Geography – History», 7М01506- «Geography» is organized in specialized auditoriums and lecture halls. Specialty students have access to modern literature available in the library of the faculty.

Contracts were concluded with LLP «Zere tur», regional inspection of protection of monuments of history and culture, Aktobe city station of young tourists, etc.

For conducting training practices there is the necessary equipment: compasses, globes, backpacks, tents, collections of minerals and rocks, wall maps, etc.

In the 2018-2019 school year, overhaul of the audience №201, 202, 211, 307, which are equipped with interactive whiteboards and computers.

In the 2020-2021 academic year, the «Tourism» office is equipped. The office is equipped with interactive whiteboards, laptops with ArсGis software, tourist equipment necessary for active types of tourism, modern equipment for organizing virtual tourism.

Cabinet of Economic Geography

Within the framework of the IT Week at our university on 03.12.2020, organized by the Department of Geography and Tourism of the Faculty of History, a grand opening of the «Innovative Tourism» cabinet took place.

The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the university Bauyrzhan Amankeldievich and representatives of the administration, the director of the Higher College, the director of the «ZereTur» travel agency, the methodist of the City Young Tourists station, the head of the library, faculty teaching staff, students and undergraduates.

Within the framework of the event, a methodological seminar «Modern technologies and tourism»  was organized. The seminar covered 3 topics:

– the first direction – «Interactive panel in the tourist educational process». On this topic, the capabilities of the panel installed in the office were revealed (smart board, timer, spinner, demonstration of virtual tours, etc.).

– On the use of the program ArcGis Desktop 10.8 in drawing tourist routes Masters of the 1st course of EP 7M01506 «Geography»  demonstrated the possibilities of effective use of geographic information systems in the field of tourism on the example of photographing tourist places of the region on the map;

– In accordance with the program, the methodist of the City Young Tourists station and students of 6В11101 – “Tourism” held a joint master class on the topic «Active tourism and tourist equipment»

An exhibition of textbooks and teaching aids was organized as part of the event.  The solemn ceremony was decorated with beautiful kuis of students of the educational program.
