International scientific and practical conference!

April 9, 2021 at the Aktobe Regional University named after K.  Zhubanov hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Ensuring sustainable development in the context of geography, green economy, ecology and tourism”, organized as part of the “Science Week-2021” and to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Fifty scientific articles in four sections were accepted for the conference.  Among them were articles by scientists, undergraduates and students of leading universities of the Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Karakalpakstan.

The authors of the 6 best articles spoke at the plenary session:

  1. Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz, candidate of geographical sciences, Associate Professor Seitniyazov Koshkarbai Matenovich.  Topic: “Some issues of standardization of Karakalpakstan toponyms”;
  2. Samarkand State University, candidates of geographical sciences, Associate Professors Ravshanov Alikul Khudayberdievich, Usmanov Marufdzhan Rustamovich. Topic: “Natural monuments – unique objects of tourism”;
  3. Bashkir State University, student Gerasimova Arina. Topic: “Problems and potential of development of domestic tourism in St. Petersburg”;
  4. Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, Ph.D., Acting.  about.  Professor of the Department of Geography Mamirova Kulyash Nurbergenovna.  Topic: “Study of the spiritual shrines of the territory of Kazakhstan in the university”;
  5. Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, master’s student Khamit Altynbek Bolatbekovich. Topic: “Aspects of geoecological research of Lake Balkhash and its environs”;
  6. Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, candidate of geographical science, Associate Professor Sergeeva Aigul Maksatovna, student Tashemenov Kuanysh Nurbergenovich. Topic: “Implementation of the elements of the” SMART-VILLAGE “concept in the Aktobe region”.

At the international scientific and practical conference with the participation of domestic scientists and neighboring countries, topical issues of geography, ecology, toponymy, tourism and local history were discussed.  Especially a lot of questions were asked to the participants about the names of land and water bodies, domestic tourism and “smart villages”.

Active participants of the conference will be awarded certificates and scientists and young researchers who made reports with letters of thanks on behalf of the university leadership
